Veteran’s Day Celebration at Garden Valley Retirement Village

Garden Valley Retirement Village will be celebrating with residents Veteran’s Day and the community is invited to join! There will be a morning color guard presentation by the Garden City Fire Department followed by a service officiated by Father Jacob Schneider. The afternoon events include the color guard by GCHS JROTC followed by guest speaker Tom Nguyen and conclude with a presentation of certificates of recognition. A special exhibit will be on display in the front lobby of GVRV. The exhibit will include armed forces attire (Finney County Historic Society) and pictures of residents and their service time. If you or someone you know is a veteran please bring any pictures you’d like to include in this exhibition. The exhibition will be available to the public all day Monday, November 11, 2024.
