Key Note Speaker: Reginald L. Robinson , Since December 1, 2019 Reggie Robinson has served as President and CEO of the Kansas Health Foundation, where he provides administrative, executive, and strategic leadership for the largest philanthropic organization in Kansas and works to advance the Foundation’s pursuit of its mission to improve the health of all Kansans. From 2017-19 he was Vice Chancellor for Public Affairs at the University of Kansas. In that capacity, he oversaw communications, outreach and government relations for KU. Before that role, he was, from 2014-17 Director of the School of Public Affairs and Administration at the University of Kansas, which houses the Nation’s pre-eminent program for City Management and Urban Policy. In that capacity, he provided academic and administrative leadership for one of the nation’s top public administration programs. Before the KU appointment, he was a Professor of Law and the Inaugural Director of the Center for Law and Government at Washburn University.

He has served as a member and Chair for both the Kansas Advisory Group on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and the Federal Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice. He serves as a Founding Director for the Kansas Leadership Center, and also Chaired the Sunflower Foundation Board of Trustees from 2012-18; he is also a Director for Topeka-based Capitol Federal Financial, Inc.. He has served on the board of directors for both the KU Alumni Association and KU Endowment. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Law degree from Baker University.

He and his wife,Jane, a Clinical Professor of Nursing at Washburn University in Topeka, have two daughters. Clare is a management consultant with Price, Waterhouse, Coopers in Houston, Texas; Paige is serving with the Kansas Human Rights Commission in Topeka, Kansas.
