Join local artist Robin Valenzuela and certified therapist Valarie Smith LPC for a workshop where art meets therapy.
This series will merge art techniques from Robin Valenzuela and compassion-focused therapy from Valarie Smith, LPC. While your verbal participation will not be required, it will be encouraged. This class is a safe space to unleash creativity, connect with self and community, and increase our awareness of Color&Compassion.
LESSONS ON SELF-LOVE:
In this workshop, we’ll take a wooden heart and cover it with textured papers and pictures of important people, places, and things. We’ll be doing a personal inventory of things we love, how we give and receive love, and ways we can increase self-love. The result will be a collage reflective of all the beautiful things that dwell in our hearts and make them beat.
