Beef Empire Days Grill Master Cook-Off

The temperature rises, days are longer, the family spends more time outdoors – it’s grillin’ time in southwest Kansas.  Is there a man alive who doesn’t believe he grills a steak better than anyone on the block! Agriculture is the life-blood of our communities, and we celebrate the beef industry during May – Beef month, and Beef Empire Days the first week in June. Here is the to capture the title of “Beef Empire Days Grill Master”. Rocking M Radio has partnered with Klaus Pellets to design an event to spotlight the amazing beef that we raise and process, along with a chance for contestants to show-off their “grilling chops”. The cook-off is part of BEEF, BEER & BOOTS, Stevens Park, Saturday, June 8. The park will be lined with food trucks, beer garden, live music, and crowd sampling rib-eye bites with The All American Beef Battalion (steaksfortroops.com). As many as 15 teams of local outdoor chefs will turn on the heat to become the GRILL MASTER CHAMPION and take home the cash.
