Kansas WorkforceONE, Families Together, and Kansas Works will be hosting Career Con on March 19th at the Garden City Community College Academic Building, from 9 am – 3 pm. It is available for ages 14-18, or anyone in high school.

The day will begin with virtual reality headsets to experience real world job functions within a virtual reality environment, such as: helping at a car crash, assisting with knee surgery, repairing diesel farm equipment, restoring power to a neighborhood, and many more!

We will have breakout sessions on Social Media Do’s and Don’ts, What Not to Do in a Job Interview, and a guest speaker from the City of Garden City. Lunch will be provided.
