World Wildlife Day at Lee Richardson Zoo

Join us on Sunday, March 3rd as we celebrate World Wildlife Day!
Each year CITES brings attention to wildlife by selecting a conservation theme for World Wildlife Day, this years theme: Connecting People and Planet, Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation.
Meet us at the alpaca/cavy habitat at 10 am or the lion habitat at 2 pm for a Keeper Chat discussing how technology is supporting each species’ conservation efforts.
A fun match game will be at the alpaca/cavy habitat from 10 am to Noon, and a Discovery Cart will be at the lion habitat from 2 pm to 4 pm.
