10th Annual Garden City Charity Classic

The Epson Tour (formerly the Symetra Tour) is the official qualifying tour of the LPGA Tour and enters its 42^nd competitive season in 2022. With the support of the entitlement partner Epson, the Tour’s mission is to prepare the world’s best female professional golfers for a successful career on the LPGA Tour. In the last decade, the Epson Tour has grown from 15 tournaments and $1.6 million in prize money to over $4 million awarded across 20+ events in 2022. With more than 600 graduates and alumnae moving on to the LPGA Tour, former Epson Tour players have won 458 LPGA tiles.The Epson Tour schedule runs from March through September and has more than 300 players competing from around the world. The top-10 players from the LPGA Futures Tour money list earn LPGA membership for the following year.

The Ladies Professional Golf Association is one of the longest-running women’s professional sports associations in the world. Founded in 1950, the organization has grown from its roots as a playing tour into a non-profit organization involved in every facet of golf. The LPGA Tour and the LPGA Teaching & Club Professionals (T&CP) comprise the backbone of what has become the premier women’s professional sports organization in the world today. The LPGA maintains a strong focus on charity through: its tournaments; its grassroots junior and women’s programs; and the formation of The LPGA Foundation. The LPGA is under the guidance of Commissioner Michael Whan and is headquartered in Daytona Beach, Fla.

Charity Classic – About Us-

The Garden City Charity Classic is the Regions only professional ladies golf tournament. The Tournament locally facilitates ladies high school’s golf programs in the 22 counties in Southwest Kansas. The Tournament is in its 8^th year and has hosted the only female back-to-back tournaments in the history of the Tour.
